Typical manufacturer lead time runs 4–7 weeks from order, and we hold some stock for common sizes.

Three things. Factory pricing rather than a distributor markup. Access to the current product approval documentation, which has to go into every permit package with the NOA or Florida Product Approval numbers matched to the exact configuration being installed. And installation to the manufacturer's published instructions, which is what keeps the product warranty intact. Any of those going wrong shows up at permitting or, worse, at a warranty claim years later.
Product approval and what the permit package needs
Every Mr. Glass unit we install carries Florida Product Approval, and for Miami-Dade and Broward addresses inside the High Velocity Hurricane Zone, Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance. The permit submittal pairs those documents with a window and door schedule keyed to your elevations and a signed and sealed engineering evaluation showing design pressures calculated for your address and roof height. Approval numbers have to match the exact configuration — size, glazing, frame — not just the product family.
Two warranties, and why the installer matters
Impact windows and doors carry two separate warranties, and homeowners routinely conflate them. The manufacturer warrants the product — glass, frame, hardware, seals — against defects. The installer warrants the installation: anchoring, sealing, flashing and operation. A manufacturer warranty can be voided outright by an installation that does not follow their published instructions, which is the practical reason installing through an authorised installer matters. If the frame is anchored wrong, the manufacturer is not obliged to cover what follows.
