What we do, and how we are set up to do it

ClearView Impact Systems installs hurricane-rated impact windows and impact doors on South Florida homes and commercial buildings. That is the entire trade — impact-rated glazing and nothing beside it. Working narrow is the reason we can tell you which manufacturer's rollers fail first, what a particular municipality's inspector will look for, and why a casement is the wrong answer for a bedroom that has to meet egress.

Installation is done by our own crews. In this market a great deal of impact window work is sold by one company and installed by whichever subcontracted crew is available that week, which is where accountability tends to evaporate — the sales company blames the crew, the crew blames the product, and the homeowner is standing in the middle of it. When something on one of our jobs needs putting right, the people who put it right are the people who installed it.

We are an authorised installer for ECO Window Systems and Mr. Glass, both manufactured in South Florida. Two manufacturers rather than ten is a deliberate choice: it means we know their lead times, their hardware, their failure modes and their warranty process properly, instead of learning them on your house. Typical order-to-delivery runs 4–7 weeks, and it stretches as hurricane season approaches, which is worth knowing in May rather than in August.

Our office is in Hialeah and we work by appointment. Appointments happen at your property rather than across a desk, because your own openings are where the useful questions get answered — the exposure, the elevation, the condition of the stucco, whether the bedroom windows still meet egress after a style change. We bring the samples and the options to you, and you see them against the wall they are actually going into.
